Yesterday was my mom’s birthday, and every year I try to do something special to let her know I’m thinking of her from the other side of the country. One year I had my PA staff sing to her over the phone, one year she had about 25 voicemails from random students I bumped into during the day and was able to coerce into calling her. This is my last year as an RLC, and thus my last year to wish her happy birthday through the creative use of college students. I figured I’d go all out.
It’s a day late, but mom, happy birthday.
